中国の鉄筋在庫が過去最大、新型ウイルスの感染拡大で需要低迷 - ブルームバーグ

新型コロナウイルスの感染が拡大する中、世界最大を誇る中国の鉄鋼業界から新たな警告が発せられた。同国全体の鉄筋在庫が過去最大に膨らんでいるという。

　　新型ウイルスによる悪影響やそれに対処する取り組みが在庫増につながっている。多くの工事が中断や遅延の状態で、建設に利用される鉄筋の需要は低迷している。

　　シティグループは「鉄鋼需要は生産を上回るペースでの減少が見込まれるため、１－３月（第１四半期）の在庫は例年を大きく上回る見通し」とリポートで指摘した。

　　中国の鉄筋在庫は季節的な変動が大きく通常は３月がピークだが、北京中聯鋼電子商務によると先週には14％増の1080万トンと過去最大を記録。１月中旬の２倍余りの水準に膨らんでいる。昨年の中国粗鋼生産量は約10億トンだった。
