モルガン・スタンレー、次期ＣＥＯら首脳3人に特別賞与 - ロイター (Reuters Japan)

[２７日ロイター] - 米モルガン・スタンレー(MS.N)は２７日付の届出書類で、次期最高経営責任者（ＣＥＯ）に指名したテッド・ピック共同社長ら３人の首脳にそれぞれ２０００万ドルの特別賞与の付与を決めたと明らかにした。

特別賞与は、現在の適正水準として計算した株価に基づいた業績連動型の株式報酬で、実際に受け取る権利が確定するのは２０２７年。ピック氏のほか、共同社長に留任するアンディ・サパースタイン氏と、ピック氏の後任として共同社長に就任するダン・シムコウィッツ氏が対象となる。

ピック氏は、１０年余りにわたって経営トップに君臨してきたジェームズ・ゴーマン氏から来年１月１日にＣＥＯを引き継ぐことが決まったばかり。サパースタイン氏とシムコウィッツ氏も、次期ＣＥＯ候補と目されていた。

ウォール街では新たなＣＥＯが決まった後、他の候補が会社に残留するのは異例だが、モルガン・スタンレーはサパースタイン氏とシムコウィッツ氏にも特別賞与の付与を決定して慰留し、従来の慣例を破る形になった。
